unclean room insect presence
The staff are helpful. (I especially appreciated their prompt assistance.)
The room was not as clean as it should have been. I found ants in the room, and there were small insects and geckos, even inside. These cleanliness issues detracted from my ability to fully relax.

fantastic retreat!
sound meditation soothing sound foot washing singing bowls
I stayed three nights as part of a retreat and the experience was wonderful. the hotel arranged a sound meditation session, a good addition to our stay. i enjoyed two massages with piki. Each session included a foot washing and singing bowls prior to the massage. the massage location overlooked the river, and the sound of the water was soothing.
the steps throughout the hotel require caution, especially at night, though the overall experience more than compensates.

The resort includes a temple, a spa, and a yoga sala. It provides various convenient treatments. a balinese dance show is held at the restaurant, and afternoon tea is available, offering additional cultural experiences , i enjoyed it!
